President Zhou Guijin led a delegation to visit Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia

From June 4th to 13th, President of WXIT, Zhou Guijin, led a delegation to Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia for exchange visits. The delegation successively visited colleges and educational institutions such as Trishakti Tourism College in Indonesia, Jakarta Universal School, the Rayong Prefecture Government in Thailand, and the Daxin Vocational and Technical College, and the Malaysia International Cultural Exchange Center. They consolidated cooperation and exchanges with Southeast Asian colleges and further expand international educational resources, further promoting “Double High Plan” (High-level Vocational Schools and Professional Construction Plans with Chinese characteristics) construction of WXIT.


In Indonesia, the delegation led by Zhou Guijin respectively held talks with Ms. Fetty, President of Trishakti Tourism College in Indonesia, and Professor Eddy, President of Jakarta Universal School. Zhou Guijin introduced the overall situation of WXIT and the current status of international education development, and stated that we would further enhance the level of communication and cooperation with Indonesian colleges. Both parties have conducted in-depth discussions on student exchange, teacher training, academic exchange, and revision of talent cultivation plans, and reached a series of cooperation consensus. The delegation members also gave project lectures and exchanged ideas with 80 students from Trishakti College in Indonesia, and were invited to participate in Trishakti College’s 54th anniversary celebration.


Led by WXIT, we collaborated with six Indonesian colleges and education groups, including Jiangsu Delong Nickel Industry Co., Ltd. and Indonesia Trishakti Education Group, and signed and unveiled college-enterprise-college cooperation projects in Indonesia. The three parties decided to jointly build Zhenghe College. Wu Wennan, Executive General Manager of Delong Nickel Industry Co., Ltd., and presidents of various Indonesian colleges attended the signing and unveiling ceremony. This college-enterprise-college tripartite cooperation will jointly explore the local teaching management mechanism of Zhenghe College, develop and promote WXIT’s unique new technologies and standards, build a digital and intelligent bilingual teaching resource bank, create a “China-Indonesia” international vocational education characteristic brand, and promote the sustainable development of Zhenghe College.


In Thailand, the delegation led by Zhou Guijin visited Thaksin Vocational and Technical College, and Ms. Watcharaporn, the president, attended the meeting with the delegation. At the meeting, both parties fully recognized the cooperation model of WXIT’s Thailand Daxin Branch and discussed how to fully utilize this platform to jointly carry out teacher training and student exchange projects in the future. Mr. Piya, Governor of Rayong Province, Thailand, met the delegation. Zhou Guijin introduced the development and achievements of WXIT in international education. The two sides expressed their willingness to expand cooperation, connect domestic and foreign resources in all aspects and at multiple levels, learn from mutual experiences, and promote the common development of international education.


In Malaysia, the delegation visited the Malaysia International Cultural Exchange Center. Both parties agreed to build international courses that were in line with international standards, of higher quality and standards, to lay a solid foundation for the learning and exchange of teachers and students, cultivate international talent, and future promote cooperation and development.
